Google Calendar
Section titled “Google Calendar”Google Calendar can extend OKTO planning by putting supported events or plans onto the organization’s calendar.
Typical workflow
Section titled “Typical workflow”- Connect Google services for the organization.
- Open the OKTO record that supports calendar sync.
- Choose the Calendar action or sync control.
- Confirm the date, time, title, and other details.
- Create or update the Google Calendar event.
Keep one system authoritative
Section titled “Keep one system authoritative”When a record exists in both OKTO and Google Calendar, your team should know which system owns the operational details. Avoid making conflicting changes in two places unless the integration explicitly supports two-way synchronization.
Historical events
Section titled “Historical events”Disconnecting Google should not be treated as a delete operation for existing Google Calendar events. Review the Google calendar separately if old events must be removed.
