Billing & Plans
Section titled “Billing & Plans”Billing is the administrative area for the organization’s OKTO subscription and plan-level account information. Use the live Billing experience for current commercial terms rather than relying on historical pricing in documentation.
Start with a goal
What do you want to do?
Choose the outcome that matches the work in front of you. You can come back to the deeper reference sections when you need details.
Review the current plan
Use the live Billing or Pricing experience for current plan names, billing periods, limits, and commercial terms.
Control billing access
Keep subscription and payment administration limited to authorized organization leaders.
Prepare for a plan change
Review the current plan, effective date, feature impact, and required approvals before changing a subscription.
Recommended flow
A good first workflow
- Confirm the current plan and billing period in the live Billing experience.
- Review the features or limits that may change.
- Confirm the effective date and internal approval required by your organization.
- Make subscription changes only from an authorized billing account.
Use current plan information
Section titled “Use current plan information”Plan names, prices, trials, limits, and included features can change. The documentation site should not hard-code historical pricing unless it is generated from the same source used by the current OKTO pricing experience.
Use the live Billing or Pricing experience for current commercial terms.
Billing access
Section titled “Billing access”Restrict subscription and payment administration to authorized organization leaders. A user’s ability to work with church giving data does not automatically mean they should manage the organization’s OKTO subscription.
Before changing a subscription
Section titled “Before changing a subscription”Review:
- The current plan and billing period
- Features or limits that may change
- Effective date of the change
- Any organization owner or finance approval required by your process
The legacy Billing page was only a placeholder, so historical trial and pricing language has intentionally not been promoted into canonical documentation.
